Processing your credit card details safely and securely is top priority for us. We put into practice what we expect when we go online shopping.
Our payment gateway is PCI DSS compliant (that stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) – essentially a set of comprehensive requirements set by the major card issues Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
The Chocolate Barn doesn’t see or hold your credit card details. We’re shown the first six and last two digits of your number purely to identify your order before we can send the goods.
Prices & Taxes
All of the prices you see on our website are inclusive of GST and always quoted in NZ dollar.
A minimum order of $12 is required (with out delivery coast)
We accept all major credit cards in our secure online checkout.
We can also take payment by direct bank transfer at the checkout, available for most of the major banks in NZ.
Our returns policy is simple and fair and we offer exactly what we expect when we shop online If it’s broken, damaged we’ll replace it or give you your money back, at no extra cost to you.
Please let us know within 48 hours of delivery.
North & South Island $4.80
Rural Delivery, Waiheke, Stuart, and Grea Barrier Islands extra $5.50
The Chocolate Barn Ltd. retains the rights to change/amend shipping costs in case it has been incorrectly calculated.
The Chocolate Barn Ltd will contact you to provide with the accurate cost prior despatch.
We’ll be working our arses off to get your order to you as quickly as possible Orders are sent Monday to Friday.
Once your order is dispatched, here’s when you can expect your order
North Island – 1-2 working days,
South Island 2-3 working days.
Waiheke, Stewart & Great Barriers Islands – 2-3 working days.
If it is heading to a Rural Delivery address please allow 2-3 extra working days on top of those time frames.
Please note that deliveries to Great Barrier Island are collection from drop-off point only, there is no door to door delivery service on Great Barrier Island.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot courier to PO Boxes. Please provide a physical address.
Parcels are shipped “signature not required” so the package will be left in your letterbox , front door or you can leave instructions at the checkout to leave the chocolate in a safe place .
We recommend you leave instructions at the checkout to leave the Chocolate in a cool with no direct sun light place. Just use “Delivery Instructions“ box at the checkout.
All of the goods we send are insured up to the point of delivery.
We’re not covered for any goods that are damaged or stolen after being delivered.
Seller may refuse to accept or cancel any order or delivery of Goods at any time by giving written notice to you. Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatever arising from such cancellation.
